i now understand why Porsche make a 4x4

Ok, so we all have heard of the infamous autobahn.
I knew it was fast but i didnt understand how fast fast really is.
The autobahn must be the reason Europeans all seem to smoke.  Ive been on it twice now and have begun to chain smoke continously now.

So we are driving along this two lane "highway" (i.e. two lane normal enough road), with our little baby at a leisurly 145km per hour. Now if that speed isnt crazy enough for you, the people who are continously overtaking us are zooming past at 200km+!
The thing that makes it even more danagerous is that it is more dangerous to go slow! I almost shat my pants (sorry but true) everytime a car came up behind us at a riduculous speed, only to slow down at the last second and then tailgate us!
And the thing is, it's not just Porsche and BMWs that go at 220km, it's ordinary (but European made) stations wagons. Entire families with baby on board stickers zoom past at 200km!

The Americans have their guns, the Germans have their Autobahns
